What can be more unique and unusual than a repurposed beautiful vintage item, given a new purpose and place in today's world.
I find items that have been replaced and abandoned, but despite which have kept their character and charm. Then I give them a new purpose, saving them from destruction by redesigning them in to a unusual and unique object ~ ready to add the quirky in to someone's home.
Generally finding "projects" at bricks and mortar auction houses, I look for vintage functional items, where they have been superseded by modern materials, or their function and need is no longer required.
When I find an object I like to work with (and let's be honest, sells well), I will continue to make more of the same. Some of the items I make will be one-offs, as they may be hard to find, or too expensive for me to repurpose and be able to offer at a good price.
Whether as a gift to yourself, or as a present, I hope that you will appreciate the quirky and unusual nature of my creations.
